tombo1984 (Blackburn Rovers) : Aston Villa will sign Brad Friedel for a fee believed to add up too £2.75million, AFTER they have signed a replacement. The No.1 candidate to replace Friedel at Ewood is Paul Robinson. But due to Spurs thinking they can demand £6.5 million (as a part of a deal involving Bentley going the other way!) for a goalkeeper they were willing to sell for £3.5 million 6 months ago. Blackburn are getting cold feet. The offer on the table is believed to be £3.5 million, and if Spurs don't accept this and bid for Bentley £17-18 million) seperately, Rovers might take their business elsewhere! Other goalkeepers thought to be being considered by Paul Ince are Manu goalkeepers Ben Foster, Tomasz Kuszczak, former Aston Villa goalkeeper Thomas Sørensen, young Bolton goalkeeper Ádám Bogdán and VfB Stuttgart goalkeeper Alexander Stolz. Carlos Villanueva and Segundo Castillo will both be signing once they have received work permits. Mark Bresciano and Ricardo Osorio. Rovers may even take a look at Theo Walcott or Denílson as a replacement for outgoing Bentley...
